Everything is better here on our end! Monica and I just went through her pictures from Macedonia yesterday, and there are around 3,000! So... we'll be going through those whenever we have some spare time so our loyal fans can check those out.

We also have some big plans for the next year, the details for which we'll be revealing sometime this week. So check back soon! There will be a long road ahead!

We are moving along here at Galleria Monique! We have some big news for our community, so stay tuned!

Meanwhile, we are looking for someone to assist with event planning and researching for new locals to work with. We just need someone behind the scenes to help us out. If you know of anyone who loves volunteer work, please pass the message along! We need a dedicated, reliable individual! :D

Monica and I stopped by Art on the Grand in downtown Farmington. Saturday was pretty hot and humid, so we didn't stay long. There was definitely a beautiful display of local art!

We now have Macedonian holidays listed on our Google Calendar! :D This way, we can connect with our Macedonian roots!

The Health Fair went very well and Monica and I really enjoyed it! Monica unveiled a painting they'll be hanging up at the HFS: School for Creative Studies as well as a couple collages of photos from our art workshops. Stay tuned for more!

Henry Ford Health Systems, Henry Ford Academy: School for Creative Studies, Parents as Partners, and the PTSA are providing a health screening to the community at the second annual health fair, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the A. Alfred Taubman Center for Design Education (485 W. Milwaukee, Detroit).

Blood pressure, glucose, and diabetes screenings will be available. Detroit Police Dept. will have sessions/lessons on anti-bullying. Also available: balancing act, the hustle, ballroom dancing, and minute massages.

Galleria Monique art will be presented! Monica and I would like to thank Denise and the HFA: School for Creative Studies for allowing us to do art workshops with them! This time has meant a lot to us and we've had lots of fun!
