Paper Dress
Check out artist Matt Richmond's sixth exhibit: unique dress creations from recycled materials.

From plastic bags and wrapping paper, Richmond's designs have been seen on local Channel 4, at the Detroit Auto Show, and at Royal Oak's Gallery U.

"My first creation was inspired by an old bust form that I found in my parents' basement," says Richmond. "I was bored one afternoon and decided to try to design a futuristic dress for the form out of old gift wrap and, as they say, the rest is history."

The City Gallery is  open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The exhibit will run until April 13.
